Faux Bois Candle How-To
1. Lay beeswax sheet on a flat, clean surface. Brush sheet with glazing medium mixed with gold acrylic paint.
2. Drag wood-graining tool across wax sheet. You can drag the wood-graining tool across the wax sheet as many times as needed to create the look you prefer, just be sure to wipe the tool between uses. Let dry for at least an hour.
3. Cut sheet of beeswax to size that will wrap around your pillar candle. Use a hair dryer set on medium to warm both the candle and the beeswax slightly.
4. Align edges of glazed sheet with top and bottom of candle and roll sheet gently into place. Smooth out the seam with your fingertips, being careful not to smudge the glaze.
